Welcome to my Web site. I look forward to sharing my cookbook with you. It was a labor of love and well worth the time that was put into it.
From Antipasti to Zuppe, I open up my recipe box and share it with you and your family. Some of the dishes, created in cramped kitchens by cooks from the "little a this, a pinch a that" school of culinary delight.
One of my fondest childhood images is the memory of coming up the front steps of our Santa Monica (CA) home after school and being embraced by the aromas reaching out to me from my mom's kitchen. Nothing said, "Welcome home," like the authentic Sicilian dishes being prepared for our evening supper. In Simply Sicilian I have recreated many of those recipes and am offering them to all those who love southern Italian cuisine as much as I do. May the experience of preparing, serving and sharing these dishes warm your heart and bring you the same joy they've given to me and my family.

Sicily is known for its warmth, hospitality and generally good-natured people. Its history is vast; its dialects many; its beaches are clean and beautiful, and the food
is “molto delisioso!”
I had the good fortune to be born to Sicilian parents. My father was from Carlentini, province of Siracusa, and my mother was born in Termini Imerese, province of
Palermo. Dad instilled in me a love for music; Momma’s gift to me was a love of good cooking.
